and more.

Welcome to Freedom in Motion.

We're delighted that you are about to embark on your parkour adventure. Obtaining a monthly membership is a great way to get into the groove of a solid parkour training regiment. Your enrollment goes a long way in supporting our gym, making it possible to continue to teach our art to those who seek it. Before you continue please review the terms and conditions of our monthly plans. The conditions exist to help us plan for the future operations of the gym, such as planning when and with what resources we can improve our facility by building new equipment for example. The following agreement helps keep coaching a sustainable job for our coaches and staff. And it also helps ensure our students are given a fair chance to properly learn parkour. If you have any questions, concerns or feedback please feel free to reach out to us.

-Thank you,

Self Service:

Members may place holds on their membership, request cancellations, and learn how our gym works in all sorts of ways without the assistance of a FiM team member through the “Help” section of our website.

Membership terms and conditions

Memberships:

Membership grants the membership holder access to a combination of sessions, open gyms, and special events depending on the membership type purchased. Becoming a member means that you agree to follow all the written rules of the gym and to follow all verbal rules and safety guidelines spoken by the Freedom in Motion staff. Failure to follow these rules may result in one’s removal from a session, removal from the gym, loss of membership, or loss of access into our facility

All memberships including this membership are automatically recurring Weekly memberships. The membership fees will be automatically processed on each Saturday of every week using any payment method on file.

For questions, membership upgrades, changes, or 7-day cancellation notices please contact us via the “Contact us” options on our website. Choose your gym location and send us an email.

Auto Payments:

Memberships are set to automatically bill week to week by default. If you do not wish for a weekly billing you must let us know of your 7-day cancellation at the date of purchase. The card used at sign up will be used for future automatic billing. If you are on automatic payments currently and wish to turn automatic billing off, a 7-day notice email is required and must be submitted in writing via email (verbal notices not accepted) then in 7 days auto-billing will be turned off on your account. Freedom in Motion may use any Debit or Credit card on file or any ACH bank accounts on file to complete missed bills.

Missed Payments:

If payments are missed on your membership, you agree to allow Freedom in Motion to contact you in order to resolve this billing issue. You also agree to allow freedom in motion to manually run any payment methods on your account in order to collect your missed bill. We may attempt to collect your missed payment at any time after its passing due date. We may collect multiple missed bills on a single day if necessary.

4-month commitment

If you have enrolled in a 4-month commitment, you may still cancel at any time with a 7-day notice.

If your 4-month commitment was given a free party, the Free birthday party offer expires after 12 months from the day of enrollment.

Late Policy:

These policies take effect when students arrive late to a session.

Arriving 5 minutes late will void your online reservation; Waitlist clients may take a late student’s place after 5 minutes. After 15 minutes no students may enter the session as they have missed the warm-up. which is vital to success & safety. The coach may choose to accept very late students if the session has 2 or fewer students present.

No Show Policy:

Spots in our sessions are scarce due to our balanced coach-to-student ratio. Failure to show up to your booked session impacts other students by taking spots away from others who otherwise would have attended the session. As a result, booking a session and then failing to arrive at your session will result in a $10 no-show fee. Failure to remove yourself from a session online within 24 hours will result in this $10 no-show fee or a $10 very late cancellation fee. To avoid this, remove yourself from the session online sooner than 24 hours.

Holds:

Holds may be placed on an account when members won’t be able to come to the gym for a few weeks yet but still wish to keep their membership. To request a hold simply complete this form and let us know. We can hold a membership for up to 4 months. In most situations, a holding fee of $12 may be applied. Find the hold form on this linked page, below. This may also be found in the “Help” section of our website by searching the word “Hold”

You acknowledge that at the end of your requested hold duration that your membership will automatically reactivate, and resume weekly billing.

Cancellations:

Cancellation Policy

Members may end their membership at any time provided they are not on a unique long-term membership contract. There is a required 7-day notice before ending your plan. To submit your 7-day notice and begin the process to end a membership all members must submit the Exit interview form (link provided below). Once this form is completed your membership will be set to end 7 days later, beginning once we receive this completed form. You will have just one more bill, since it will be within the 7-days. Then your plan will end before it bills again that following Monday. Until then, you can continue to enjoy your membership or give your final days to a friend. In other words, you have one more bill to go, then your membership ends that next Sunday night before the would-be next bill date.

In short, you must complete the exit interview form to officially submit your 7-day notice to end your plan. An end date will be set on your plan 7 days later. Failure to complete the exit interview form will result in your membership continuing to auto bill each week regardless of your participation in weekly sessions.

Verbal in-person, phone call requested, or voicemail message cancelations will not be accepted.

Exit interview form can be found on this page.

Membership terminations by FiM Staff

There are occasions when the FiM team will elect to terminate membership of a client. This happens when the client’s overall behavior proves to be incompatible with the policies or culture of the gym. The following are the major reasons why Freedom in Motion may elect to terminate a membership. The gym staff may elect to issue a warning, and in most cases, will do so if a membership termination is imminent. However, the FiM staff may choose to terminate any membership at any time for any reason. These reasons will most often fall within the confines of this section of the terms and conditions agreement.

  1. Lack of respect & the relationship is not improving: FiM may terminate a membership if the demeanor and/or rhetoric of a client is consistently disrespectful.

  1. Consistent breach of write gym policy, like our No-show policy or not following safety protocols.

  1. Extreme resistance to gym culture: A member may be removed for fighting with or verbally abusing any other person in the gym, or in our online groups. Consistent behavioral issues while in session or while in the gym or at gym events. A consistent inability to keep conversations civil, respectful, and productive.

Refunds:

All refunds will be made as Freedom in Motion Gym account credits. If your ability to visit the gym has been suspended by the Freedom in Motion staff, you may use your credit on training gear and online training programs.
